Current Thoughts.

It's been a really long time since my last post but felt led to post my thoughts, not really for you all who read but for me to get these things out that I feel God has been working in my life and talking to me about.

While reading through Chronicles...yes Chronicles I have run into some very interested things that has got me praying and thinking about healing. In Chronicles there is a king who gets a disease in his feet and instead of seeking God, our healer, he seeks physicians. I paused as I read this and was surprised b/c we see this so often today, although we know God is our healer we seek and trust physicians more and even if we pray before making the appointment we know in our minds we will be calling later. Anyways if you are not familiar with the story this was not a bad king, in fact God was very pleased with him, unfortunately he died of the disease and it mentions right before he died that he sought physicians and not God over it. Did he die because God was not pleased with him or because he didn't seek the healer? I don't know the answer's to this but I do know one thing, God thought it was significant enough to put in the Bible for us to read. I do not condemn those who go to doctors but I have always been slow to make an appointment and slower even now. If God is who he said he is, and I know him to be, he WILL heal us and it pleases him to see us seek him.

Another thought....I do believe God puts a desire in us for greatness and it can be a good thing done his way, but we have to stop trying to climb the "church ladder" and do what he has called us to do, he will exalt the humbled and promotion comes from him. If your church as cliques don't worry about it, you don't need to be moving up there anyway, do what God calls you to do and ignore the rest of it.

One more thing....Although I think the prosperity message has been preached to much and we are lacking big time in fruit and love and evangelism messages, by looking at the old testament, not the laws saying WE HAVE TO GIVE, but looking at those God had his hand and favor on we see they had such supernatural prosperity that the land couldn't contain them, I believe God loves us that much and wants it for us as well.

I am hoping to write more and have things written down I would love to share and may if it is the Lord's will. God bless.
